JAMMU, Mar 9: Annoyed over the failure of Postal Administration in opening of Postal Training Centre in J&K, National Secular Forum (NSF) today held a protest demonstration in the Jammu University Campus.
The NSF activists under the leadership of Sukhdev Singh shouted slogans against the Chief Postmaster General, Jammu and Kashmir for not executing the decision of Central Government related to opening of Postal Training Centre in Jammu.
Sukhdev Singh alleged that Postal Services officers were least bothered for the improvement of infrastructure in the State. “Setting up of Postal Degree College will not only improve the crippled postal network in J&K but also provide a platform for youth to learn the emerging trends in Government sector”, he explained while justifying the NSF demand.
Among those who were present in the protest included Barket Tahir, Vikram Madhyal, Qayoom Malik, Ajaz Shah, JB Singh, Rishikesh Rana, Amit Salgotra, Pushpinder Singh, Altaf etc.
