NSF protests against poor BSNL services

JAMMU, Sept 8: The activists of National Secular Forum (NSF) today held protest demonstration against the BSNL for its poor mobile/ internet services in the Jammu City.
The protesting NSF activists raised slogans against the CGM J&K Circle and others senior officers of Jammu Sub Circle of the BSNL and demanded improvement in the mobile and internet services. They alleged that due to poor landline, mobile and internet services of the BSNL, the public was badly suffering.
NSF State president Dr Vikas Sharma, who led the protesters, asked the BSNL CGM not to test the patience of Jammu people. “The mobile services of BSNL have touched a new low. Sometimes, it is poor connectivity that harasses the mobile users and sometime, it is the miss-connectivity that irritates people,” he said.
Elaborating on the issue, Dr Sharma mentioned that students of Jammu city in particular are suffering lot because of poor network of BSNL. “Even though there has been increase in the bill payments, there is no improvement in the services provided by BSNL,” he added.
The NSF leader threatened a massive agitation if the BSNL services are not improved soon.
Among those who were present in the protest, included, Papinder Singh, Reshikesh Rana, Amit Sanotra, Vinay Charak, Deepak Jamwal, Mohit, Aman Sharma, Vipuml Rajput, Yugteshwar, Abhishek Mansotra and others.
