NSF demands roll back of new Recruitment Policy

JAMMU, Apr 22: The National Secular Forum (NSF) has flayed the State Government for introducing New Recruitment Policy hence putting the future of thousands of unemployed youth in jeopardy.
Addressing a press conference here today, NSF president Sukhdev Singh said that the PDP-BJP dispensation in the State has made a mockery of the system by introducing the new Recruitment Policy without taking into confidence people of the State.
“The previous State Government headed by Omar Abdullah had also introduced the similar policy but revoked the same owing to public pressure but Mufti Mohd Sayeed failed to understand the gravity of the issue and repeated the same mistake,” he expressed.
Singh condemned the unilateral decision of the State Government vis-à-vis Recruitment Policy and questioned the rationale behind its approval which has created a furors among the people particularly youth who had pinned lot of hopes on the new dispensation led by Mufti Mohd Sayeed.
The NSF president urged the Chief Minister to immediately revoked the new policy and fill all the vacant posts in various Government departments so as to provide relief to the unemployed class. He, however, threatened to launch massive agitation if the said policy was not rolled back.
He urged all the youth to come together on a single platform to launch joint struggle for their rights and show a united face to the Government so that new recruitment policy could be revoked.
