JAMMU, Dec 19: National Secular Forum has constituted its unit for SPMR College of Commerce and appointed Damandeep Singh and Afaq Ahmed as its chairman and president, respectively.
The unit was constituted during a meeting of the NSF, held in the college premises under the chairmanship of Dr Vikas Sharma NSF State president who also discussed the various issues and demands of the students.
Sukhvinder has been appointed as vice-chairman. Niklesh Kumar, Neeraj Verma, Vikrant Singh and Sahil Singh were appointed as vice-president. Mandeep Singh Bali and Pardeep Choudhary were appointed as general secretary. Taran Veer Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Tarun Sharma, Preetpal Singh were appointed as secretary.
Sunil Choudhary was appointed as cashier, Neeraj Sharma as organizing secretary, Rahul Sharma as Publicity Secretary while Gourav Choudhary, Avinash, Sourav, Amit, Arun Kumar and others were elected members.
Addressing the meeting, Dr Vikas Sharma welcomed the youths in strengthening the NSF. He said that this is going to make the NSF stronger. He said that seeing the response of the youth in joining NSF more is expected in future.
He also expressed his resentment over delay in coming up of construction work in Central University of Jammu.
