JAMMU, Aug 24: National Secular Forum (NSF), University Unit organized a programme here today to pay tributes to Rajguru on his birth anniversary.
Amid slogans like ‘Rajguru Amar Rahe’, ‘Inqulaab Zindabad’ etc, the activists of NSF remembered Rajguru and garlanded his portrait.
The chief guest on this occasion was Dr. Vikas Sharma, Coordinator Jammu District (Urban) and NC leader while T.R Sharma presided over the function.
Vikshay Vashist, State secretary NSF was guest of honour.
Dr. Vikas Sharma threw light on the life of martyr Shivaram Hari Rajguru who was born in Maharashtra August 24, 1908.
Sharma strongly opposed the charging of Toll illegally at Sarore Plaza.
T.R Sharma stressed upon the youth to shun their self-centered outlook and contribute in development of the nation.
Vikshay Vashist, Roshan Sharma, University president, Narinder Singh, Aditya Khajuria, Tufail Reyaz Khan, Punnet Bakshi, Aditiya sharma, and others also spoke on the occasion.
