UDHAMPUR, Aug 24: Displaying exemplary act of honesty, a Police Constable returned the wallet containing gold item along with cash to its owner, who had lost it in main bazaar Ramnagar.
Constable Farooq Ahmed, presently posted in Police Station Ramnagar, while performing his duty in main bazar Ramnagar, found the wallet containing a gold Mangalsutra (Approximately 7 grams in weight) along with some cash.
Police on cue and efforts traced the owner of lost property and after proper verification, he handed it over to the original owner namely Rohit Kumar of Ramnagar.
SSP Udhampur, Dr Vinod Kumar has appreciated the cop for displaying such honesty.
