NRDC pays Rs 5 crore royalty to CSIR, DSIR

NEW DELHI, Jan 7:
The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) today gave Rs 5 crore, earned through royalty by technology transfer, to Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
NRDC Chairman and Managing Director H Purushotham handed over a cheque of Rs 5,42,12,323 to the Secretary, DSIR and Director General, CSIR Dr Girish Sahni as their share of Premium and Royalty collected on the technology transferred by NRDC, a statement said.
Speaking on this occasion Sahni, said that NRDC has served the country by taking various technologies through various stages of development to the stakeholders, that have a great role to play in the future of this country. (PTI)
