JAMMU, June 3: Infuriated over the university’s decision of discontinuing with the B.Ed re-evaluation from the current session, NPSU activists held a protest in front of the office of Dean Education JU.
Shouting slogans, they were demanding resumption of the practice in the interest of the aggrieved students.
Speaking on the occasion, Th. Virender Singh, State president NPSU, lamented that despite various representations to the Dean Education and the Controller Examinations in this regard, no action was taken by the university. He said that the barring of re-evaluation process had put the career of several students at stake.
The NPSU leader asked the university authorities to issue a notification to resume the process of B.Ed re-evaluation within a week’s time or face agitation over the issue.
