JAMMU, Oct 25: Demanding declaration of re-evaluation result,  activists of NPSU at GGM Science College today boycotted their classes and held a protest demonstration  against the Jammu University and the Controller of Examination.
The protesting students also blocked the road in front of the college and raised slogans against alleged non-serious attitude of the JU Examination Wing.  The protest was led by  Chetan Sharma, provincial vice president NPSU.
Speaking on the occasion,  Sharma said that the students are waiting for their 1st Semester re-valuation result for the last more than 3 months and on  the other hand,  the Examination Wing has now released the date sheet for these  same  exams, whose re-evaluation results are yet to be declared.  This  situation has created confusion for the  students who have applied for the re-evaluation, he added and demanded postponement of the exams besides early declaration of re-evaluation results.
Warning  the Examination section to resolve the issue as soon as possible; the protesting students threatened to gherao the Controller of Examination.
