NPP to emerge as single largest party of Udhampur in BDC elections: Mankotia

UDHAMPUR, Oct 11: Gearing up for upcoming Block Development Council polls, Former MLA & NPP president, Balwant Singh Mankotia said that NPP will emerge as single largest party of district Udhampur in upcoming BDC elections.
While addressing a huge gathering of senior leaders, Sarpanchs, Panchs & activists at party office Udhampur, NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia said that Panthers Party is the only regional party which is participating in this election. He asserted that NPP always believe in democracy & struggled for many years to maintain democratic setup in Jammu and Kashmir. Mankotia lambasted some regional & Central based political parties and said that they are running away from the elections where as some parties & leaders had pinned their eyes on other political parties for candidates.
Despite spending hefty amount by other parties, Mankotia recalled that NPP emerged as the largest party of Udhampur in last year’s Municipality elections. He said that Panthers Party has always raised the voice of people in Assembly as well as on roads. Mankotia informs that after abrogation of Article 370 senior leaders of the party were under house arrest due to which party will not contesting in other districts.
Mankotia appealed to Sarpanchs & Panchs to support Panthers Party in BDC elections.
Block Udhampur candidate Sunil Manohar, block Sewna candidate, Kuldeep Singh, block Narsoo candidate, Haji Mohd Khalil including senior leaders, Sukhdev Singh, Amarnath Mehra, Sanjeev Sharma, Jagdev Singh Jagga, Rajinder Bali, Ashok Sharma  & councillors spoke on the occasion.
