NPP protests, demands release of Class-IV selection list

UDHAMPUR, Sept 28: Expressing concern over the delay in the release of Class-IV selection list of candidates from Udhampur and Reasi districts, National Panthers Party (NPP) president, Balwant Singh Mankotia today organised a protest rally with the aspirants who had applied for the post in the year 2006.
The protest rally commenced from NPP office and after passing through different areas concluded at DC office. Speaking on the occasion, Mankotia said, while the list of all the other districts have been released why that of Udhampur and Reasi has not been released despite conduction of interviews.
He said that after enquiring he learned that the list is withheld on the directions of Supreme Court and asked why the list of only two districts has been withheld while selected candidates from other districts are perusing jobs for many years.
Mankotia threatened hunger strike if the list is not released within 15 days.
Municipal Councillors Sunil Proach, Jagdish Kumar, Darshan Kumar, Aarti Verma and others were also present in the rally.
