JAMMU, Aug 9: The National Panthers Party (NPP) today announced first list of nine candidates for forthcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party has given mandate to its all three sitting MLAs including Harshdev Singh, three times MLA from Ramnagar, Balwant Singh Mankotia and Yashpal Kundal, both two times MLA from Udhampur and Samba Assembly seats respectively.
Harshdev Singh had also served as Education Minister in Mufti Sayeed Government.
Other candidates cleared by the NPP in its special meeting of Parliament Board included Rajesh Sharma Pargotra (Vijaypur), Dhani Ram Atri (Chenani), Ashfaq Rana, Sarpanch (Surankote), Pawan Dev Singh (Bani), Sewa Singh Bali (Banihal) and Ram Dhan (Hiranagar).
