NEW DELDHI, Sept 16: Admonishing Pakistan for its blatant interference in the internal affairs of India and its overt and covert support to secessionists in Kashmir, J&K National Panthers Party leaders and activists staged a demonstration near Pakistan High Commission here today.
Spearheaded by Harshdev Singh, chairman of the party and Yashpal Kundal State president Young Panthers and others a large number of activists JKNPP assembled near Pak High Commission here in the morning and started protest. Accusing Pakistan for converting Kashmir into vortex of violence the ardent protesters raised pro-India and anti-Pak slogans. The NPP leaders and the activists amidst the heated exchanges with the cops in front of the Pak embassy were arrested and detained in the Chanakya Puri Police Station.
Addressing the media persons, Harshdev lambasted Pakistan for its pernicious designs in aiding and abetting militancy in Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere in the country. He castigated Pakistan for its highly malicious and mischievous designs in sponsoring militancy particularly in J&K and pushing in ‘indoctrinated traitors’ to vitiate peace and harmony on our side of the borders. Assailing Pakistan for its terror training camps, its Hawala deals, drug trafficking besides its highly rancorous propaganda in the print and electronic media against India, Mr Singh lamented that Pak’s notoriety had assumed alarming an unacceptable proportions.
He further divulged that the Government of Pakistan endorsing all kinds of support to the secessionists in Kashmir had been squarely responsible for the ongoing turmoil which had claimed over 80 lives and left nearly 11000 injured including the security personnel since the killing of dreaded Hizb militant Burhan Wani. He alleged that Pakistan had also been pushing infiltrators into Indian side all across the IB and LoC.
Referring to the recent militant attack at Poonch, NPP leader said that huge quantity arms, ammunition and explosive material had been recovered during the search operations which proved that the rogue country was hell bent to vitiate peace in J&K. Cautioning the rogue State to desist from poking its nose in Indian matters, he further exhorted the International community to take serious cognizance of Pakistan’s terror manufacturing antecedents besides the persistent venomous rants of Hafiz Sayeed, Sayeed Salahuddin and Moulana Masood Azhar against India which had only unveiled Pakistan being a terror exporting state. He urged the UN to declare it as a “Terrorist State” and exhorted the institutions like IMF, World Bank etc to impose sanctions on that country.
