KATHUA, May 18: Gearing the party cadre in Jammu region, former MLA and NPP State president, Balwant Singh Mankotia disclosed that party will form a human chain with one lakh people on July 9, 2018 to seek CBI inquiry in Rasana case. This human chain would be formed from Lakhanpur to Jammu in peaceful manner.
Addressing a press conference at party office Kathua, Mankotia claimed that the motive to form human chain with one lakh people is a warning to Central Government asking it not to adopt coercion behaviour and not to pervert them on the name of justice for which BJP Government is responsible for defaming Jammu people in Rassana case.
He further said that NPP initially demanded the CBI inquiry in the Rassana case with support of Gujjar and Bakerwal community and to make people aware, it organised more than 200 street rallies for CBI demand so that justice be provided to innocent victims.NPP will organise street rallies at Panchayat level to make people aware and to seek justice in Rasana case besides, it will leave no stone unturned for the this sensitive issue, informed Mankotia.
While making a scathing attack on BJP, NPP State president blamed that ruling party wants that people will forget this issue but NPP will not allow BJP to fulfill its ill designs. People of Jammu region whole heartedly supported and put faith in BJP but party has hurt the sentiments of people and ruling alliance has to pay the price for dishonesty, regretted Mankotia.
