Sharvan Badyal appointed as National Coordinator NSUI

NEW DELHI, May 18: Thakur Sharvan Badyal has been appointed as National Coordinator of the NSUI, student wing of Congress party.
The appointment was made by Fairoz Khan, national president NSUI, with the approval of Rahul Gandhi, national president AICC and incharge NSUI.
Thakur Sharvan Badyal belongs to a non-political background and hails from the Kishtwar district. He started his political career as a student activist. He initially joined NSUI in 2009 as active member in Jammu University. Later in 2011, he became the part of election commission NSUI. He worked there as a DRO (District Returning Officer).  As DRO he got opportunity to work in different States of the country.  In 2013 he contested organizational election of NIMS University Rajasthan and became vice president of the varsity. He played a vital role in strengthening the organization at NIMS University till 2015.
After passing 6 rounds of selection process, he got a chance to work at national level at as PNOB (Probationary National Office Bearer) and was appointed incharge of Himachal Pradesh NSUI.
