NPP delegation to meet Central leaders

JAMMU, Aug 16: To apprise the Central leadership of some of the immediate concerns of the people of Jammu region in the wake of re-organization of J&K, a delegation of Panthers Party leaders shall be meeting various Central leaders in New Delhi tomorrow.
This was stated by Harsh Dev Singh, NPP chairman and former minister today. Singh said that NPP team would be including Ex-MLAs of the party besides other senior leaders who would invite the attention of the Central leadership about the fallout of the latest development and certain genuine concerns being expressed by the people.
The NPP delegation besides seeking withdrawal of restrictions on internet services in Jammu region would apprise the Union Govt and President about the wrongful confinement of Jammu based leaders who had been placed under house arrest without any justifiable reasons, said Singh.
Apart from the issue of delimitation, the NPP would discuss the desirability of enactment of domicile laws for J&K so as to protect the lands of State subjects from getting into the hands of outside land mafia and to further protect the interests of local youth in the employment, Singh said.
