JAMMU, Feb 24: National Panthers Party (NPP) accused BJP for selling out of Dogra and Pahari interest to the PDP just for the sake of power.
Addressing a press conference, chief patron Prof Bhim Singh accused Congress of complete surrender to the NC which is evident from the behaviour of the Congress vis-à-vis elections to the Legislative Council.
He also accused both BJP and the Congress to mortgage the national interest in J&K to the Dixon plan. Prof Bhim Singh further accused the BJP of surrendering to PDP at the cost of national security, the refugees, the migrants and the scheduled tribes.
NPP chief appealed to the youth, intellectuals, working class and students to join the Panthers Party in the interest of national unity, integrity and for preservation of our composite culture.
Prof Bhim Singh also expressed shock on the statements of RSS chief accusing Mother Teresa of ‘forcible conversion’. NPP leader said that this does not fit in the mouth of RSS Supremo. He hoped that dignity and respect for the great people in the past should be maintained.
Expressing grave concern over the situation in Maldives, Prof Bhim Singh, condemned the President of Maldives for disgracing, insulting and assaulting Former President Mohammad Nasheed and then ragging in like a sand bag into the Court on the allegations which were rejected by the early administration.
He appealed the Government of India to take up this matter with the UN Commission on Human Rights and act fast to save the life of a progressive and rising statesman in the island.
