RAJOURI, May 5: In strong action against drug trafficking Rajouri Police team led by SHO, Abid Hussain Shah today detained a notorious drug smuggler under PITNDPS.
The accused identified as Vanit Sayal, son of Om Parkash, resident of Salani, Ward No. 4 Tehsil and District Rajouri, has been involved in multiple cases of drug peddling. Taking cognizance of his continuous involvement in such illegal activities, the competent authority issued detention orders under the PITNDPS following which he has been lodged in Jammu Jail.
This action is part of Rajouri Police’s ongoing crackdown on drug smuggling to curb the spread of narcotics and safeguard the youth of Rajouri from the effects of drug abuse.
