Notorious drug peddler nabbed with heroin

JAMMU, July 4: Miran Sahib police under Operation Sanjeevani nabbed a notorious drug peddler along with heroin.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Miran Sahib police station apprehended a notorious drug peddler along with 4 grams of heroin from Khawas Khan.
The accused has been identified as Ravinder Singh alias Pampu, son of Suran Singh, a resident of Kotli Mian Fateh, RS Pura.
With the arrest of the notorious drug peddler, Miran Sahib police achieved a major success to save the youth from becoming drug addicts.
A case under FIR Number 95/17 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psycho-tropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the drug peddler at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ravinder Singh Rakwal along with Incharge Kullian police post ASI Yougal Kishore made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
