JAMMU, May 11: Bus Stand police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Bus Stand Police Station during random checking apprehended a notorious drug peddler and recovered 130 grams cannabis from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Ram Dass of Kanzli district Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 25/18 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bus Stand and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bus Stand Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Varun Jandial, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
