DODA, Oct 21: Police arrested a notorious bovines’ smuggler and rescued 3 cattle from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Doda Police Station laid a naka near Ganpath area and apprehended a notorious bovines’ smuggler and rescued 3 cattle from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Ashiq Hussain, son of Ghulam Shah, a resident of Akramabad, district Doda.
A case under FIR Number 222/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Rughubir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
