JAMMU, Aug 25: On the eve of Independence Day senior journalist and noted social activist from J&K, R. Vijay Magotra got national level ‘Samta Award – 2019’ at Mavlankar Hall, New Delhi by the Ex-MP, Udit Raj and Kali Ram Tomar, President of Bhartiya Samta Samaj.
On this occasion Udit Raj praised the working of R. Vijay Magotra and said that he worked hard, dedicatedly, honestly in journalism and social field for the welfare of poor, needy and downtrodden masses.
He has donated his blood several times for saving precious lives of bomb blast and road accidental victims.
Magotra who is Deputy Divisional Warden Civil Defence, Jammu has also awarded DGCD’s Commendation Certificate and Disc in 2013 for his selfless and sincere services to the society.
