LOS ANGELES, June 1: Actress Cameron Diaz says she understands that people choose to opt for botox because it makes them feel better about themselves and she will never judge someone for it.
“I have absolutely no judgement on what makes people feel good about themselves. (Those procedures) are there to help people feel a little bit better about themselves.
“If they do feel better about themselves, then those procedures have worked. I have no problem with that. And [in] a lot of instances, it does make you look like you’ve taken a nap … Or that you might be a little younger than you looked maybe the day before.”
The 43-year-old actress, however, also stressed the importance of good health in making people look better.
Speaking on the Oprah Winfrey Network show, Diaz said, “The places that the Botox doesn’t reach are still ageing. So, it’s very, very important to know what happens to your cells (and), if you really want to age well, how you can manage that ageing on a cellular level through the five pillars of well-being.” (PTI)
