Not bothered about threats, abuses, will work to make India strong, prosperous: PM

CHENNAI: Observing that the hatred campaign against him among the Opposition was reaching new levels daily”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said a Congress leader talks of killing him but he would not be bothered about their threats  and abuses and strive to make India strong and prosperous.

Addressing an election rally of the BJP-led NDA, in which leaders of alliance partners shared the dais in a show of strength ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, he said the Modi hatred among the Opposition was reaching new levels daily.

”They have a competition–who will abuse Modi most. Someone will abuse me. Then someone will mock my poverty. Then someone will abuse my family. Then someone will abuse my lower caste origin”, he added.

The Prime Minister said ”now one Congress leader talks of killing Modi. But I want to tell them, that I am not bothered about threats and abuses. I am here to do whatever I can to make India strong and prosperous”.

”Every drop of blood in my veins, every breath of mine, every second of my time is for India and 130 crore Indians”, Mr Modi thundered. (AGENCIES)
