JAMMU, Dec 30: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yash Pal Sharma along with senior leaders of the party, today conducted door to door campaign in Ward number 2 of Jammu East Assembly segment.
While interacting with people, Sharma expressed grave concern over rampant corruption in the administration and regretted that most of the Government sponsored schemes failed to yield expected results in the urban areas.
He said that Centre has blocked funds for the Centrally sponsored schemes due to failure of the State Government to conduct Civic Bodies elections.
Sharma said that there was no transparency and accountability in the Government Departments.
He said that every section of the society has been suffering due to the misdeeds of this regime headed by Omar Abdullah.
Among others present were ex-MLC Ved Mahajan, Fallail Singh State secretary, Choudhary Hussain Ali Baffa, district president RK Bali, vice president Vikram Singh, Chaman Lal Angral, etc.
