JAMMU, Dec 30: The central body of Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha Satwari Mandal Jammu, today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Dr Kasturi Lal Khajuria and unanimously elected new office bearers of central body of Satwari Mandal for a period of two years for the smooth functioning and working of the Sabha.
Om Parkash Sharma of Ashok Nagar was unanimously elected as President and Captain Ashok Kumar Sharma of Rampura at working President of Satwari Mandal for two years.
The other new office bearers elected included Devinder Vaid of Nai Basti as vice president, Govind Sharma as general secretary, Shastri Parshotam Lal Dubey of Rampura as Dharam Pracharak, Vijay Sharma (Retd. Head Master) as secretary, Brij Bhushan Sharma (Retd. Postmaster) as office secretary, Vijay Kumar Sharma as cashier, Radhya Sham Sharma and Tara Chand Sharma as executive members.
Two new advisors Jiva Nand Sharma and Prof Neel Kanth Sharma (Retd.) were also nominated.
The new elected office bearers urged the State Government to redress their demands at the earliest.
