JAMMU, Feb 8: J&K BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi today slammed Kashmir based mainstream political parties for shedding crocodile tears over the eviction drive initiated by the LG led administration in J&K.
While interacting with people during his Jagti visit, the BJP leader claimed that Kashmir based political parties have deceived the people of Jammu and Ladakh regions for the last 70 years and have looted Government resources.
He said that both NC and PDP leaders are enacting drama by expressing fake sympathies for the people by coming on roads to oppose the eviction drive.
“They have lost their political ground in J&K and now their encroached properties have also been retrieved by the government,” Sethi maintained adding: “The dynastic politics has ended with the abrogation of Article 370.
He said that for politicians or bureaucrats, whosoever have misused their powers to encroach massive land all over J&K, the Government has taken a right step in evicting them and no one should have any problem in this regard.
The BJP leader lauded the Lieutenant Governor for assuring poor people, making a livelihood or having dependence on 5 to 15 marla of State or Kacharai land, that they will not be touched during the eviction drive.
Sethi was accompanied by BJP Bajalta Mandal president, Ajay Sharma; vice president, Pardeep Singh; general secretary, Sunny Sharma, Pritam Thapa, SC president; Amita Devi, Panch and Shiv Sharma, senior BJP leader.
