NEW DELHI, May 1: The BJP today said there was no need of knee-jerk or any panic reaction to growing incidents of violence in Jammu and Kashmir or violation of LoC by Pakistan as the Government is well seized of the matter and is mulling an elaborate action plan.
“There is no need for knee-jerk reaction as the Government is well seized of the matter,” BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya told reporters here. He said the Government is already working on a plan and the Central Government will take the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir into confidence or keep it in the loop before taking any action.
The BJP’s reactions come as bodies of two Indian soldiers were mutilated by the Pakistan Army along the Line of Control in the Krishna Ghati sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Defence Minister Arun Jaitley also said that the sacrifices of the two soldiers will not go in vain.
Earlier, the Northern Command of the army in a statement said, “Such despicable act of Pakistan Army will be appropriately responded”. (UNI)
