SRINAGAR, Aug 12: Police today said that rumors about a driver of Kulgam district being missing along with his Tavera vehicle JK13A/2909 proved false when the driver Sheeraz Ahmed Ganie son of Mohammad Sikender Ganie of Hirwani of D.H Pora, Kulgam, was found to have stayed at Kulgam for a night.
Police spokesman said that rumors that Ganai was killed at Udhampur. However, after enquiries, police said, he had gone to Srinagar to ferry some passengers without informing his family. Police said he was safe and is now back in his home.
