JAMMU, Aug 5: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh said today that there will be no compromise on terrorism and the terrorists have only two options-either to get killed or surrender.
Speaking to media persons after laying foundation stone of multi-tier parking at General Bus Stand, Dr Singh said: “a militant is a militant and there were no two definitions for him. He (the militant) is an anti-national element. Whosoever wages war against the country will either get killed or he has to surrender”.
Dr Singh said there can be no compromise on terrorism.
Asserting that some political opponents of the BJP and PDP were also fuelling violence in Kashmir, the Deputy Chief Minister said the people should maintain peace and calm and help in restoration of normalcy in the Valley.
“The political opponents of both the parties were also busy in fomenting trouble but they won’t succeed,” the Deputy Chief Minister said.
