No change in decision to quit BJP, says Yeddyurappa

BANGALORE, Oct 13:
Disgruntled BJP leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today came down heavily on some of his partymen who have been trying to create confusion on the issue of his exit from the party.
“Let them wait with patience till December. There is no question of me staying in this (BJP) party. There is no change in my decision on quitting the party”, Yeddyurappa said while speaking to reporters here.
Yeddyurappa said he would bid good bye to BJP in December and cautioned “if my followers who are in the ministry are troubled, then this Government will not survive”.
He said he would embark on statewide tour after resigning his assembly membership in December.
Yeddyurappa, who was set to hold a meeting of some of his supporters of Belgaum district today at his Dollor colony residence, postponed it till Navaratri festival which commences from October 16, which are considered auspicious days. (PTI)
