JAMMU, Mar 8: The Nirbhao Nirvair Organisation (NNO) today held a strong protest demonstration at Press Club against the damage of the vehicles going to Kashmir from Jammu carrying the passengers as well as eatables.
Addressing the protestors, general secretary of the Organisation, Ramneek Singh said the Organisation strongly condemned the assault on drivers and their vehicles by the miscreants in Kashmir Valley.
He said why the drivers become the victims of such atmosphere when some untoward incident takes place in Valley. What is the fault of these drivers who are serving people taking risks of their life and providing the essential items to the Kashmiri people, he questioned.
Though the Government is aware of the said facts but no action was being taken against the miscreants who are hell bound to take law and order in their hands, he asserted.
Singh appealed the Government to pay compensation to the drivers, whose vehicles have been damaged while going to Valley. He also demanded security for the drivers going to the Valley.
