Nizamia group starts counselling for eligible students in J&K

JAMMU, Oct 15: Nizamia Education Group (NEG) formally started counselling process for students eligible for free education under Nizamia Scholarship in Jammu.
Addressing a press conference, NEG Founder, Maqsood Ahmed said that education is passport to the future and tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today, so NEG wants to give opportunity to students from J&K.
“This year due to COVID-19 pandemic we could not conduct entrance test in April so we will select students for scholarship on the basis of merit. Around 500 students from Jammu division will be selected for the scholarship”, said Maqsood Ahmed.
He said that 500 students from Kashmir have been already selected. “Due to COVID-19 pandemic we could not provide free laptops and tablets to the students who have filled their application forms for the same. They will be provided these items next year,” Ahmed maintained.
NEG Managing Director, Maqsood Ahmed who belongs to J&K said he realised the need of educational opportunities in J&K which led to the establishment of a coaching centre which ultimataely became NEG.
He claimed that NEG is expanding day by day contributing to the lives of thousands of students and they have about 10 offices PAN India and are currently working with 1000 plus universities across the country.
A handout stated that NEG is in field of counseling since 2012 with an urge to improve quality of education and provide opportunities to the students of J&K and focusing on States like Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and other SAARC countries.
