JAMMU, Feb 8: Nirwan Divas of Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sahib will be celebrated on February 11 at Kabir Bhawan, village Chak-Avtara, Bishnah.
This was announced today by president of All J&K Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sabha, FC Bhagat, while addressing a press conference here at Press Club. He also informed the general public, particularly Kabir followers about annual programmes for different occasions and issued a calendar of programmes.
Bhagat said that the Sabha has unanimously decided that Nirwan Divas of Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sahib will be celebrated this year on February 11 at Kabir Bhawan, village Chak-Avtara, Bishnah. Besides, the main function at Bishnah, all the district/block units will celebrate the Kabir Nirwan Diwas at their respective headquarters as per the calendar schedule.
The Sabha president also disclosed that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has very kindly consented to grace the occasion as chief guest. He requested the public at large to participate in the function and have the blessing of Saint Shri Sad Guru Kabir Maharaj.
Among others who attended the conference include Bhushan Lal, VC, SC Advisory Board, Prof Garu Ram, Ex-MLA, GR Bhagat (senior vice president), JL Bhagat, ex-president, Prof Ashok Bhagat, Chaman Lal, Dr Gurdass Bhagat, Yash Pal Bhagat, Tarsem Lal, Bachan Lal, Jatinder Bhagat, and district presidents, Pardeep Bhagat, Babu Ram, Rattan Lal, Sat Pal, Tirth Ram and Bodh Raj Bhagat.
