JAMMU, Feb 23: All J&K Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sabha organized a function to observe ‘Kabir Nirwan Divas’ at Chak-Avtara, Bishnah today. The function was largely attended by the devotees/followers of Kabir Sahib from different parts of the State. The devotees especially from district Reasi, Kathua, and Udhampur came in procession & devotees from Khour, Marh, R.S.Pura, Bishnah, Vijaypur & Sunderbani participated in the function with full faith and devotion.
The spiritual discourse was delivered by Dina Nath Ji Punjab wale disciple of Great Mahatma Shri Chandi Ram Ji on the Bani of Saints with special reference to Kabir Bani. He explained the Sangat that Kabir was a living spirit of God & preached the inner richness of human values and his main thrust was on humanity by spreading the message of love, peace and tranquility.
According to Kabir Sahib Bani, all human are equal and the only way to attain moksha depends on one’s karma & not the materialistic world.
President of the Kabir Sabha, F.C. Bhagat while addressing the gathering said that Sant Kabir is a guiding beam of enlightment and spiritual attainment from whom we all felt inspired and drew strength from. He appealed to the people of Bhagat community to unite on a common platform and maintain a positive approach for the proper upliftment of the community. He also appealed to develop a mutual co-operation among all other communities which is a need of hour.
Bhagwan Dass Ji (Udhas Marg R.S. Pura) was the chief guest. He also appealed the participants to follow the path of Sant Kabir. Among others who also attended & spoke on the occasion were G.R Bhagat, senior vice president, Tarsem Khullar, Prof. Ashok Bhagat, Chaman Lal, general secretary, district president, Pardeep Bhagat, Dev Raj Bhagat, Babu Ram, Sat Pal, Dr. Buti Ram, coordinators, Subhash Bhagat & Ravinder Bhagat & all the office bearers who paid rich tributes to the Great Saint Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sahib.
