Nirwan Divas of Braham Rishi observed

JAMMU, Feb 4: The Nirwan Divas of Braham Rishi Jeewan Sahib was observed with religious fervour and gaiety.
In this connection a function was organized at Samadhi of Braham Rishi at Ladhoo Pampore in which the devotees from the village and adjoining areas participated and paid their obeisance to this spiritual saint of medieval Kashmir.
The function was chaired by Ravi Ji Bhat. Bhajan Kirtan was also performed and prashad was served to devotees.
Another function was held at Durga Nagr Trust, Barnai near here. On the occasion  a Maha Yagya was performed and devotees were served prashad after puran ahuti. The function was held under the supervision of M L Bhat and a large number of devotees participated in it.
A Bhajan Kirtan was held by Babloo Ji Jad and other devotees. The religious discourses were also given and scholars threw light on the life of Rishi Ji. Those who graced the occasion included former Chief Secretary and ex MLC, Vijay Bakaya, Dr O P Nakashi,  president Sharika Peeth Sansthan, M K Jalali, Murari Koul, Bihari Kak, general secretary Migrant Cell PCC, Bansi Lal Raina, Avtar Krishan Dhar, Kuldeep Pandita of Thinkers Forum, Bansi Lal and Sandesh Ji.
