RAMBAN, Feb 4: A driver was killed, when the Tata Mobile he was driving plunged into gorge near Shahbanbass area, falling under the jurisdiction of Banihal Police Station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Talib Hussain, son of Abdul Gani, a resident of Maitra, district Ramban.
After competing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under FIR Number 16/18 under Section 279, 337 and 304-A RPC has been registered at Banihal Police Station and investigation started.
