JAMMU, May 9: Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy. Chief Minister J&K accompanied by Rajeev Sharma, former MLA and Anuradha Charak, vice-president, J&K BJP listened to the public grievances at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
The BJP Jammu & Kashmir has constituted a Committee of the senior functionaries of party who will daily listen to the public grievances in the party headquarter.
Dozens of people visited the party office to discuss their woes with the senior BJP leaders. People presented various issues related to the development of their respective areas and their various other concerns. Among others, JKAS aspirants requested for the restoration of age clause as 40 for Open Merit and for reserved categories accordingly and Non-migrant Kashmiri Hindus requested to provide relief to left out non migrant Hindus ‘at par SRO 425’ for them as well.
Dr. Nirmal Singh listened to their issues patiently and telephonically talked to the concerned departmental officials and issued letters for the others.
“BJP is genuinely concerned for the welfare of the masses and this is the reason that the party has once again started the regular sitting of its senior leaders at the party headquarter to attend to and to promptly ensure that their issue get resolved”, said Dr. Nirmal Singh, while speaking on the occasion.
Dr. Nirmal Singh further said, “We have tried to solve the issues presented by the public and also talked to the concerned officials to get amicable solutions to their issues before this committee”. “We will also follow up these issues at the later stage as well”, he added.
