Nirankari Foundation organizes blood donation camp

JAMMU, Oct 13: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, Samba organized a voluntarily blood donation camp wherein volunteers from all age groups participated.
A handout stated that over 150 persons came forward for donating blood but only 101 including 21 ladies were fit to do so.
Ajit Singh, Zonal In-charge, Sant Nirankari Mandal Zone-1 inaugurated the camp and said that the blood one donates can save someone’s life.
He further said that Sant Nirankari Mission is offering selfless services for the benefit and welfare of mankind.
K.C Bhagat, Sanyojak Samba delivered the welcome address as well as vote of thanks.
Other dignitaries presented on the occasion were Dr. Saddat from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Bodh Raj Sanchalak, Somnath Ex-MLA, some senior citizens and social workers.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood Transfusion Deptt of Govt Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society, JKSACS and District Hospital Samba.
