SAMBA, Aug 3: In continuation of the spirit of service, Nirankari devotees donated 170 units of blood here at the blood donation camp organized by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Samba.
The camp was inaugurated by Yashpal Kundal, MLA, who while speaking said that the most valuable donation a human can make is blood donation. Blood donation does not save the life only but spreads the message of love and compassion also.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr Renu Bala Blood Bank Jammu, Fareed Ahmed Kohli DSWO, Amrik Singh, Inder Singh, Hardyal Singh and other prominent citizens.
Rev K C Bhagat Sanyojak Samba welcomed all and presented the vote of thanks.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood Bank Government Medical College, Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS. The saints from branches Vijaypur, Ramgarh, Rajpura and Ghagwal also participated in this camp.
