Srinagar, May 28: Police today said a residential house and eight shops were damaged in a fire incident in Kulgam district of south Kashmir last evening.
A police spokesman said fire broke out at DH Pora in Kulgam district in which a joint residential house belonging to Farooq Ahmad Ganaie and Abdul Rashid Ganaie and eight shops were damaged.
“Fire was brought under control by fire tenders with the assistance of police and locals of the area,” the spokesman added.
