JAMMU, Apr 14: To inculcate moral and spiritual values among the masses, Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust organized a nine -day long spiritual activity at its Ashram Udaiwala Bohri near here during the auspicious Navratras.
Thousands of devotees thronged the Ashram during these nine days and participated in the spiritual activities in a spirit of true devotion and humility. The Hawan actually started in the evening of April 5 concluded with Puran Ahuti on April 15 afternoon marking the end of nine days festival. A huge gathering of devotees took part in recitation of about fifteen million mantras during these auspicious days for propitiating the blessings of Mother Goddess. They also prayed to Bhagawaanji for the well being of mankind.
The prashad was distributed after Puranahuti to the devotees.
The nine days Navratra festival also concluded at Sharika Peeth, Subash Nagar where large number of devotees thronged to participate in religious function held under the chairmanship of M K Jalali its president. The devotees were served with prashad also.
The nine day long celebrations of Navratra also concluded at Swami Nand Bab Ashram Lalay Da Bagh where hundreds of devotees took part in religious activities during the festival days.
