LOS ANGELES, Feb 8: Actress Nina Dobrev has penned an emotional farewell note to “Vampire Diaries”, as the one of American TV’s most popular shows is heading for its finale.
The 28-year-old actress, who essayed the role of Elena/Katherine on the supernatural-adventure series, poured her heart on Instagram.
“Dearest TVD family, It feels like it was just yesterday that I was saying goodbye. And yet two years have passed and here we are again. This is my true final goodbye, as today I shot my last scene of the Vampire Diaries forever,” Dobrev wrote, alongside a picture of the gift she had got custom made for the crew by The Giving Keys.
Hit by a wave of nostalgia and bittersweet endings, she hopes that their fans and followers will like the last episode.
“From the bottom of my heart, I send you my biggest thanks for the countless years of implicit dedication, passion, support, and undying love from all the fans that have stuck with us on this truly amazing and beautiful journey,” she writes further.
Dobrev ended her post with signing it as, “Love, Katherine, Amara, Tatia, and of course, Elena Gilbert,” with hashtags #TVDforever and #FangsForTheMemories. (PTI)
