LOS ANGELES, June 18: Former “The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev and her new boyfriend Austin Stowell’s relationship is getting serious and the duo attended the screening of “The Final Girls”.
According to eyewitness, the new couple was seen getting intimate during the event, reported Us Weekly.
Stowell was said staying close to Dobrev while walking the red carpet. The pair were even caught holding hands as Dobrev introduced Stowell to her co-stars.
“He called Nina ‘babe’ and gently put an arm around her waist,” the eyewitness said.
Dobrev, who sizzled in a Monique Lhuilluier embroidered red dress, also came to the event with some friends.
Departing The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” in May, Dobrev revealed she’s now more interested in film projects.
“I think six years was a really long time and now that that chapter’s over, I’m looking forward to exploring new opportunities and trying different things,” the 26-year-old actress said.
“So maybe for now I’m not saying never – never say never. But for now, yeah, I’m going to try doing film and doing different kinds of roles, maybe. Hopefully an action, drama, period piece. Basically anything that I haven’t done, I’m going to try and tackle for the challenge of it.” (PTI)
