BhadErwah, May 24 : Much to the relief of over 50,000 subscribers, mobile Internet services were restored in Bhaderwah tehsil district Doda this evening after remaining suspended for nine days.
Night curfew which was imposed as a precautionary measure after the clashes following the death of Nayeem Shah, was also lifted from the town.
The Internet services were snapped and curfew imposed on May 16 as after the killing of Shah of Mohalla Qilla triggered violent protests.
The Internet services on mobile phones started functioning this evening after remaining suspended for nine long days.
Tehsildar Bhaderwah Zeeshan Tahir said the services were suspended as mobile Internet was misused by miscreants to fan trouble in Bhaderwah in the past.
