LONDON, May 13: Socialite Paris Hilton’s younger sister Nicky is suing her former fashion line partners for USD 5 million.
The 28-year-old hotel heiress claims Asher Group is responsible for the failure of a high-end fashion venture she undertook, reported Contactmusic.
Nicky signed a deal with Eliyahu Cohen and the Asher Group to launch Nicky Worldwide in 2006 and market products under her name.
She claims they promised to provide USD 4.9 million in financing for the operation but in a lawsuit filed in LA County Superior Court, Nicky says that the Asher Group failed to secure the amount.
The aspiring designer says they never paid her salary and wasted the money the company did have on unnecessary personal expenses.
Nicky states that Asher Group spent USD 9000 per month on a personal assistant who “spent most of her time running personal errands for Asher and other tasks unrelated to business.”
She claims Asher and Cohen’s irresponsible conduct caused her company to not do well, leaving Nicky to “clean up the mess.”
Nicky is now demanding at least USD 5 million in damages. (PTI)
