Nickel, copper slide on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Nov 28:  Prices of nickel and copper drifted lower by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said reduced industrial offtake and weak global trend mainly led to the fall in nickel and copper prices.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4×4) and copper mixed scrap eased by Rs 2 each to Rs 860-865 and Rs 344 per kg respectively.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 102-108, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 860-865, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 344, Chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 86, lead imported Rs 92, aluminum ingots Rs 142, aluminum sheet cutting Rs 138, aluminum wire scrap Rs 138 and aluminum utensils scrap Rs 136. (PTI)
