NEW DELHI: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday filed a charge sheet before the NIA special Court at Mohali in connection with the seizure of heroin at Integrated Check Post at Attari, an official statement said here.
According to NIA, the charge sheet was filed against 11 accused namely Tariq Ahmad Lone, Jasbir Singh, Nirbhail Singh, Sandeep Kaur, Ajay Gupta, Ranjit Singh, Iqbal Singh, Farookh Lone, Sahil, Shoaib Noor and Amir Noor. They were charge sheeted under sections 120 B IPC, section 8 read with 21, 23, 12 read with 24, 29 NDPS Act and sections 17, 18 and 20 UA(P) while four companies Kanishk Enterprises Pvt Ltd, Gupta Fast Forwarders Pvt Ltd, Global Vision Impex and General Trading Company were booked under section 120 B IPC, sections 8 read with 21, 23, 12 read with 24, 29 NDPS Act and sections 17, 18, 20 and 22C of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in the case relating to seizure of 532 Kg heroin at Attari.
