NHPC inaugurates Sewage Treatment Plant

KISHTWAR, Dec 16: NHPC Dulhasti Power Station has constructed a 80 KLD capacity sewage treatment plant. The inauguration Plant was made today by Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station.
This sewage treatment plant will treat 80000 liters of sewage per day and will provide pH 7-8 clean water. Moreover, it will also provide organic manure which will be used by the power station. This plant will treat the sewage generated from residential and office premises of Chenab Nagar Sector-II and Sector-III of the Power Station.
On this occasion, Dr. Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), Mithilesh Prasad Dinkar, General Manager (Electrical), Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical), Dr. R.P. Singh, Deputy General Manager (HR), Jagrup Kumar, Senior Manager (Electrical), Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR) along with other senior officers and employees were present.
