KATHUA, Oct 9: NHPC Sewa II Power Station Mashka, under its CSR scheme, organized a free healthcare camp in Government Higher Secondary School Hutt for the welfare of local residents of the neighbouring villages of the power station.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by General Manager Rajan Kumar and ADC Basohli, Sanjay Gupta. Around 350 patients availed free consultation and medication. Of the total patients, 40 percent were women and 10 percent were children. The team of two doctors and six paramedical staff provided its services for the camp.
On the occasion, NHPC also gifted two lamination machines along with large number of lamination film rolls to ADC Basohli for issuing of various types of free-of-cost laminated certificates to the needy people of the block. The ADC appreciated the efforts of NHPC management for the timely help and support provided to local people as well as the state administration.
